Johan Kobborg has won the Dance Critics Circle Award for best male dancer and has received many Danish ballet Grants and Awards.
In 2006, he was nominated for the Laurence Olivier Award in London for his performance in Fleming Flindt’s The Lesson with the Royal Ballet.
Johan Kobborg received the Knight Order of Dannebrog from Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, 2013.
